Optimist Hill

the only downhill ski and snowboard hill inside the city, tucked into Diefenbaker Park. winter brings groomed runs, a terrain park, lessons, and snow tubing for people who would rather just slide down. rentals are on site, so you can show up with nothing and still get out on the snow. the same slope runs programming in the warmer months too. a genuinely good way to spend a cold afternoon close to home.
