Ukrainian Day in the Park is a free, full-day festival in Kiwanis Memorial Park that celebrates Ukrainian culture and community in Saskatoon. The Ukrainian Museum of Canada hosts a Cultural Pavilion spotlighting local Ukrainian Canadian institutions, including exhibits marking the 100th anniversary of the Ukrainian Women's Association of Canada, the 90th anniversary of the Ukrainian Museum of Canada, and the 25th anniversary of the festival itself. The day features live music and dance performances, food vendors, a beer garden, and activities for all ages, giving you a chance to connect with community leaders and learn about the ongoing cultural work across Saskatchewan.
