summer theatre & art camp – july 13-17, 2026 | ages 9-12

A five-day summer camp where kids ages 9 to 12 split their time between Remai Modern's art studio and Persephone Theatre. In the mornings or afternoons at the museum, you'll work with professional artists on drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and other hands-on projects in the galleries. At Persephone, theatre educators guide you through acting, improv, and devised scenes so you can build characters and tell your own stories. The camp runs 9 AM to 4 PM each day with lunch included, and a small group of up to 15 campers keeps the pace relaxed and personal. Extended care is available from 8 to 9 AM and 4 to 5 PM for an extra fee. A limited number of funded spaces are available for families facing financial barriers; applications close May 1st.
